Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join one of Canadas largest commercial fuel and retail organizations for a full time position. This will be a hybrid role with the expectation to be in office 3 days a week downtown Calgary. A successful candidate will have extensive experience building financial statements independently, exposure to joint ventures and project accounting experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years experience in roles related to financial and management accounting.

- Senior level experience with Excel.

- Exposure to JD Edwards (or other ERP systems) and PowerBI.

- Understanding of financial systems, processes, internal controls and GAAP (IFRS).

- Experience building financial statements independently.

-Experience with external reporting.

- Professional Accounting Designation and/or Post-Secondary Business or Finance Degree.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in renewable energy space or EV space

- Oil and Gas experience

- Leadership/management experience

-Project Accounting experience

-Hyperion and allegro experience.
