Insight Global is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Controls Specialist to lead cost, schedule, and risk management across a portfolio of turnaround and capital projects for one of the largest agricultural companies in the world. This enterprise-level role will shape execution standards, mentor site-based professionals, and deliver strategic insights to senior leadership. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated control frameworks, resolve execution challenges, and drive continuous improvement across the network. Responsibilities include leading cost and schedule variance analysis, developing resource-loaded baselines, and producing high-quality reports for SVPs, Turnaround Event Managers, and project teams. The role also involves guiding digital enablement initiatives, embedding best practices, and supporting performance recovery strategies. This is an opportunity to influence execution across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio and grow into a long-term leadership position.
The role is based in Calgary, Alberta, with travel to North American and international sites as required. Standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, with increased site presence during turnaround execution windows. Initial engagement runs through December 2025, with strong potential for multi-year extension.

- 12+ years managing large portfolios (250M+) within turnarounds and capital project experience
- Expertise with both SAP and Primavera P6 is essential
- Hands on experience with Power BI
- 5+ years with schedule risk modelling, trend diagnostics, and Monte-Carlo forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience in program governance; maintaining standards, processes, and documentation for enterprise-scale programs
- Experience with AFE workflows, cost capitalization, and understanding of IFRS/US-GAAP
Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Construction Management, or a related field
