Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Security Architecture consultant to join one of the worlds largest agricultural organizations for a 6 month contract with a high possibility of extensions. This is a remote opportunity, with the preference of a candidate sitting in Calgary. A successful candidate will be working in the threat risk assessment team and primarily engaging in net new projects. Responsibilities include utilizing information from internal security infrastructure to gain visibility into cyber-threats and cyber-incidents, the ability to maintain a strong understanding of current cyber security risks and vulnerabilities and collaborate with other team members.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of IT industry experience with minimum 5 of those years working as a Security Architect
- Experience working as a Security Architect at a mid to large sized organization
- Previous experience working in incident response, automation and threat modelling
- Knowledge of networking, security awareness and awareness of malicious activities online
- Security documentation experience
- Must have a clear understanding of enterprise project management fundamentals and working with agile software development teams
- Experience working in an AWS or Azure environment
-Azure/microsoft experience
-Ability to think outside of the box and communicate with upper level management/stakeholder
