Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Procurement Business Analyst to join on of the Canada's largest agricultural companies for a 12 month opportunity located in Calgary, AB with a hybrid 3 days on office per week work model. This individual will play a key role in cleaning, transforming, and preparing procurement data for analysis, designing and implementing automation solutions, and developing unified data models to support consistent reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in data analysis and automation, with high proficiency in Power BI and Excel, and a solid understanding of agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization using advanced Excel, Power BI
• Strong understanding of data automation using Power Automate, Power Query, and SQL for data modeling and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP systems, including Oracle, SAP S/4HANA, PeopleSoft, and SAP ECC.
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including source-to-pay, procurement, and supplier management.
• Familiar with UNSPSC classification, supplier tiering frameworks, and taxonomy development for spend analysis.
• Skilled in consolidating and normalizing data from multiple sources, with a focus on automation and clear communication of insights.
• Proven ability to build dashboards, KPI reports, and conduct trend analysis to drive data-informed business decisions.
• Effective collaborator with experience managing stakeholder expectations and balancing multiple high-priority projects.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Tech-savvy and forward-thinking, with a keen interest in emerging technologies such as OCR, RPA, and Machine Learning.
Experienced in data cleaning, organization, and automation of reports in ERP-integrated environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Python or R is a plus.
