Job Description
Insight Global is seeking two experienced Mechanical Designers to join a large modular housing company in Calgary, working onsite 5 days a week. This is a fast‑paced role that requires a strong team‑first mentality. With an uptick in projects going into the new year, the team needs additional support to manage the workload. A successful candidate will work closely with the manufacturing and design teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in Revit, including strong experience uploading files, updating models, and making design changes.
- Experience in both drafting and design, with solid knowledge of mechanical design calculations and load calculations.
- Previous experience in construction or HVAC environments.
- Strong understanding of National and Provincial Building, Plumbing, Gas, and Fire Codes; familiarity with IMCC or UPC is considered an asset.
Excellent communication and the ability to work well within a team.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or completion of a Mechanical Engineering Technology program.
- P.Eng or EIT designation.
- Knowledge of NECB; familiarity with IECC is an asset.
Experience with modular housing design.
