M365 Data Protection Analyst

Insight Global is looking for an M365 Data Protection Analyst for a 12 month contract at the world largest agricultural organization. A successful candidate will be working in data loss prevention team, implementing Microsoft defender, including defender for Office 365, defender or endpoint, defender for identity and defender for Cloud Apps. This role will be primarily responsible for the implementation and roll out of this new initiative. This is a remote opportunity across Canada, but a candidate must be available to work in MST hours from time to time.

- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- 2+ years' experience analyzing and actioning security risk assessment outcomes against Azure AD and Microsoft 365
- Experience writing and running PowerShell scripts (in Microsoft 365 workloads, compliance and purview solutions)
- Experience planning, configuring and integrating Microsoft Defender (defender for Office 365, Endpoint, Identity and Cloud Apps)
- Azure AD and Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager security capabilities
- Understanding of information architecture, taxonomy and management disciplines
- Any relevant certifications (Microsoft certifications preferred)
- Experience working with Microsoft Sentinel (or similar SIEM)
- Experience rolling out Microsoft Information Protection and Sensitivity Labels
Experience rolling out Microsoft Data Loss Prevention policies, including Cloud and Endpoint DLP

- Certifications including but not limited to disciplines such as application life cycle management (e.g., ITIL, Product Owner, SAFe, DevOps), MS Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure, MS 365) are strongly preferred
