Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Industrialization Engineer to join one of Calgary's largest manufacturing aerospace companies for a full time position. This opportunity will be 5 days a week onsite in Calgary, Alberta and 40 hours a week. This individual will be responsible for shaping and executing the manufacturing strategy of the organization, focusing on driving production efficiency, implementing transformative projects, and fostering innovation in aerospace manufacturing. Other responsibilities may include:

-Overseeing and governing projects aligned with the companys "Make vs. Buy" strategies, including introduction of new machines and technologies, ensuring alignment with business cases and organizational goals
-Ensure project timelines, budgets, and objectives are met, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Methods, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure project alignment

This leadership position requires a strong technical and leadership acumen, with a commitment to continuous improvement and alignment with company objectives. This person will be key to delivering innovative solutions that meet stringent industry standards and customer expectations

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of Management experience within Aerospace Manufacturing leading teams of Project Managers, Product Managers or Program Managers
-Background in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or a related technical field
-Experience and understanding of Manufacturing assembly lines
-Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing systems, engineering systems, and aircraft production
-Demonstrated success in leading complex manufacturing projects with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-PMP or P.eng
-Relative company experience coming from either Bombardier, Boeing, Airbus, or any tier 1 supplier i.e. (Companies that work directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to provide major systems and components)
