Insight Global is seeking an experienced IAM Business Analyst to join one of Calgarys leading oil and gas companies. This role will support identity governance processes, documentation, and access reviews. The role is critical in ensuring SOX compliance, maintaining clean identity data and supporting recurring audit and access review processes. Its ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, enjoys documentation, and can balance both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. This is a remote 5 month contract working on MST hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Quarterly Access Reviews, including planning, execution, tracking, and remediation.
- Maintain and update compliance frameworks, documentation, and procedures.
- Organize and clean compliance records across SharePoint sites.
- Standardize and clean Active Directory data (naming, ownership, descriptions).
- Develop sustainable compliance documentation processes.
- Collaborate with Business, IA, and EA stakeholders.
- Review and respond to audit evidence and requests.

5+ years of experience as an IAM Business Analyst.
Experienced with SOX compliance.
Experienced with tools like SailPoint, BeyondTrust, and Active Directory.
Proven experience supporting and tracking quarterly access reviews.
Strong documentation skills with a focus on audit readiness.
Exposure to SharePoint and Active Directory cleanup projects, identifying outdated content and improving documentation.
Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders
Experience with large identity governance systems.
Familiarity with audit and compliance processes.
Understanding of how to use AI to keep documentation accurate and up to date.
Proficient in creating and updating process flow diagrams using Visio.
