Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Enterprise Security Awareness and Relations Specialist to join one of Calgary’s leading energy companies on a contract, full-time (40 hours) basis. This is a hybrid role (Mon, Tu and Thu in office). You will work to develop and manage the security awareness program primarily through social engineering and communication initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports for Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and quarterly updates for VPs.
- Improve meeting formats, document minutes, and track action items.
- Lead company-wide security awareness initiatives (e.g., Cyber Security Awareness Month).
- Manage Social Engineering Program and annual security training updates.
- Measure program effectiveness using metrics and dashboards.
- Maintain ES content on internal/external platforms and publish updates (e.g., Year in Review).
- Develop urgent communications during security incidents and rapid-response templates.
- Build and maintain relationships with VPs, ELT, and key stakeholders.
- Gather feedback and recommend improvements to ES messaging and initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in security awareness, training or communications within enterprise environments
- Experience building out social engineering programs - phishing, smishing, deepfake and human risk scoring
- Experience communicating with VP level stakeholders, giving executive level presentations, and having exceptional powerpoint documentation skills
- Experience preparing security reports on risks and global threats
- Experience leading company-wide security initiatives (cyber month)
