Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Capital Project Expeditor to join one of Calgary's largest oil/gas companies on a two-year contract with high possibility of extension. This resource will support Project Managers in the acquisition of materials and engineered equipment for pipelines and associated facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that the delivery of equipment and material is in accordance with the Purchase Order requirements and assure that the supplier is fulfilling agreed upon terms and conditions of the purchase order. This is a hybrid opportunity, 3 days/week in-office in Calgary.

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum 2 years experience specific to Expediting, preferably for Capital Projects.

· Experience specific to the oil & gas industry with an understanding of the material/equipment, manufacturing processes and the market situation of the relevant commodity.

· Experience working on multiple projects and with more than one Project Manager at a given time

· Strong problem-solving capabilities. In order to solve occurring problems, the Expeditor needs to consider project and suppliers targets and limitations to gain support and buy-in.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Proficiency in MS Office Applications and SAP
