Job Description
We are looking for a CAD-savvy design professional who can produce high-quality renderings and conceptual layouts while also serving as an Owner’s Representative, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the design and build process.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical design background who understands how drawings translate into real-world construction.
1. Design & Rendering
• Develop computer-aided drawings and renderings for:
o Planned mini-storage facilities
o Multi-story commercial and industrial buildings
• Produce:
o Site layouts
o Building massing studies
o Floor plans and elevation concepts
• Modify and update designs based on feedback, budget constraints, and constructability considerations
2. Owner’s Representative / Project Coordination
• Act as Rally Services’ technical liaison with:
o Architects
o Engineers
o General contractors
o Specialized consultants
• Review design documents for alignment with project goals, budget, and schedule
• Assist with scope clarification, RFIs, and design coordination
• Participate in design meetings and provide clear technical feedback on behalf of the company

Required Skills & Experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; Revit, SketchUp, or similar strongly preferred)
• Experience producing architectural or industrial renderings
• Solid understanding of:
o Building layouts
o Construction methods
o Structural and spatial coordination
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with:
o Self-storage facility design
o Commercial or light-industrial buildings
o Multi-story structures
• Background in architecture, architectural technology, engineering technology, or construction management
• Prior experience acting as an Owner’s Rep or working closely with developers
