Insight Global is looking for an Advisor, Corporate Procurement for a 12 month contract. This is a hybrid opportunity, with the expectation to go on-site at the Calgary office 2 days a week, with the other 3 days at home. Responsibilities include:
Negotiate with suppliers and develop contracts with favorable terms and conditions
Assess industry & supplier landscape by performing market research and supplier due diligence
Gathering scopes of work, specifications, volumes, etc., to guide internal customer needs by developing RFx packages
Coordination of internal stakeholders discussion on RFx package and evaluation
Analyze RFx supplier proposals and bid evaluation results to make supplier selection recommendations
Writing contract executive summaries & securing contract signatures
Administration of contracts & amendments in the appropriate contract management and sourcing systems (Ariba and Icertis)
Resolving invoicing/payment issues with corporate buyers and suppliers
Monitoring and tracking of contract & spend compliance & savings
Assist in developing and executing the Corporate spend strategy in line with Procurements objectives,
Support the Corporate Procurement Management team with the development, planning, and implementation of Procurement initiatives impacting the Business Unit through indirect spend data subject matter expertise
Act as a subject matter expert on indirect spend data (goods and services) and S2C/P2P Procurement process
Understanding of Supplier Portal and SAP Ariba tools, systems, and processes and how they are integrated with all Systems (SAP/Oracle)
Extracting, analyzing, and managing spend data from both SAP ECC & Oracle
Work closely with peers (Corporate Procurement leads and advisors, Management Leads, Management Analysts, Governance & Enablement team) and Leadership Team to ensure the procurement S2P tool kit addresses customer needs

- Minimum five (5) years relevant industry experience with three (3) years experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
Experience in supply chain and procurement, including negotiations, strategy development and implementation, supplier relationships, contract management/development, forecasting, risk management, and S2P processes and tools.

S2C and P2P process

Motivated, high-energy, results-driven, and self-starter business mindset and capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with comfort working cross-functionally to gather information and resolve conflicts
Clear and thorough understanding of, and practical experience with, enterprise asset management systems (SAP/Oracle), contract management tools (e.g., Ariba, Icertis, analysis & reports), data management tools, and S2P systems (eProcurement)
High degree of ethics, discretion, honesty, fairness, and sound business practices to secure and maintain reputation in the market
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
Experience engaging in other corporate procurement areas (e.g. HR, Legal, Finance, Safety (SHE), etc.) also considered an asset.
Experience with IT hardware/software, managed/consulting services, and value-added reseller (VAR) contracts preferred.
Advanced MS Excel skills, PowerBI, and dashboarding experience would also be an asset
Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Planning preferred
