Job Description
Our client is seeking a senior-level .NET Developer / Technical Lead with strong backend development experience and expertise in both SQL Server and DB2 environments. This individual will play a key role in supporting and enhancing applications within a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) environment, with a focus on logistics and supply chain operations. The resource will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, drive solutions, and own development efforts from requirements through deployment. This is a highly autonomous role requiring a proactive, self-driven professional who can function as both a technical lead and an individual contributor. The person needs to directly work with business and deliver the things with proper documentation. He should be good in analytical thinking and problem solving. Self-motivated to drive for results independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development efforts for WMS-related applications supporting logistics and supply chain operations.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Own projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering through development, testing, and implementation.
• Support and develop solutions involving DB2 to SQL Server integrations and migrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications utilizing the Microsoft technology stack.
• Partner with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience
• Senior level experience needed: 7+ years
• Strong experience with C# & NET development + support
• Extensive backend development experience
• Advanced SQL Server development + administration
• DB2 to SQL Server migration experience
• Experience supporting or developing within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• MVP (Model-View-Presenter) architecture and legacy enterprise application support
• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Understanding of ODBC/OLE DB connectivity and using SQL Server OPENQUERY
• System integrations and interfaces
• Experience with production support and troubleshooting
• Windows Server administration and application hosting
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• DB2 (on System i/AS400) database administration/development
• Experience with NHibernate Object Relational Mapper (ORM)
• Familiarity with Mercurial version control system and/or Tortoise Hg Workbench
• JSON processing and file-based integrations
• Logistics and Supply Chain domain experience highly preferred
• Exposure to front-end development with Angular is a plus
• ERP/WMS integration experience
• Source control and deployment processes
