Job Description

You will be working with a dynamic team of system engineers responsible for design decisions in all areas of A/V Systems and the technical direction of multiple projects across multiple programs for operations. Responsibilities include designing the systems hardware and software framework for large complex resilient systems and formulating high-level architectural solutions to ensure implemented solutions meet stakeholder needs, standards, and performance requirements. Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to: 

Creating Drawing Packages and Bill of Materials in CAD.
Design and testing of complex videoconferencing and integrated audio/visual technologies (videoconferencing, control systems, displays, video walls and matrix systems, audio reinforcement systems, cameras, microphones, document cameras, streaming technologies, etc.) and A/V based collaboration technologies
Design of audio/video systems with Crestron, AMX and Extron control systems
Conduct customer site surveys and provide sales engineering support, including collecting and recording detailed operational, functional and technical requirements, developing project scopes, and providing overall system costing for A/V projects
Design and test and troubleshoot various network and telecommunications systems including IP networks and ISDN networks
Understanding plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprint and drawings 
Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
Develop test plans for complex AV control system functional acceptance tests of AMX, Crestron, and Extron control systems
Develop and conduct on-site user and administrative training for the installed integrated audio/visual systems

Required Skills & Experience

Secret Clearance
Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience OR associates degree and 7 years of experience OR 11 years of experience and no degree (years of experience is withing specific AV design
AutoCAD experience, or experience drafting with a similar drafting software
Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 20% of the time
Crestron Experience
