Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Certinia Developer to design, configure, and enhance our Certinia PSA environment. This role will support project standardization efforts, PSA feature adoption, platform optimization, and ongoing system enhancements while prioritizing native Certinia functionality wherever possible.

Responsibilities-
Project Standardization Workstream
• Design and implement scalable project architectures within Certinia PSA.
• Configure both Parent-Child (engagement and sub-project) and Single Project models.
• Develop and support opportunity-to-project automation processes.
• Build a reusable project template framework that can be maintained and extended by Business Operations teams.
• Configure engagement-level reporting, governance controls, and audit capabilities.
• Evaluate requirements and recommend out-of-the-box Certinia solutions before pursuing custom development.
Best Practices Enablement Workstream
• Implement prioritized Certinia PSA capabilities including:
o Time Entry, Resource Management, Forecasting, Billing Controls, Dashboards and Reporting
• Partner with Product and Business Systems teams to deliver enhancements from an evolving backlog.
• Support ongoing optimization and adoption of native Certinia functionality.
• Develop reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex services, and integration frameworks to support long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Perform code reviews and enforce development standards related to security, maintainability, testing, and documentation.

Ongoing Platform Support
• Provide support for Certinia package upgrades and release management activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Document configuration and development standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable system designs and best practices.
• Follow CI/CD and DevOps processes, including source control, automated deployments, and release governance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• 3+ years working with Certinia (FinancialForce) PSA solutions.
• Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce configuration.
• Experience implementing PSA, project management, resource management, and billing solutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and APIs.
• Experience with reporting, dashboards, governance, and security controls.
• Ability to balance configuration-first and custom-development approaches.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or equivalent deployment frameworks.
• Experience conducting peer code reviews and enforcing coding standards and development best practices.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise Salesforce environments with integrations and managed packages.
