Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Hybris Developer. You'll work as a backend developer our client's SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform, customizing and maintaining core commerce modules while integrating with other internal systems. This is hands-on development work within an existing e-commerce environment, not greenfield build-out. You'll be expected to use AI coding tools (Claude) as part of your daily workflow.
• Customize and maintain Hybris modules (Product Catalog, Promotions, Order Management, Customer Support, Backoffice)
• Integrate SAP Commerce with other backend services and third-party systems
• Collaborate with the broader engineering team and report to an internal tech lead
Use AI-assisted coding tools daily as part of standard development practice

Required Skills & Experience
• Mid-level+ experience (4+ years)
• Hands-on SAP Commerce (Hybris) backend/customization experience — OR strong backend development on SAP or a Salesforce-equivalent enterprise customization platform
• Practical, daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude or similar)
Strong communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with specific Hybris modules: Product Catalog, Promotions, Order Management, Customer Support, Backoffice
• Experience integrating SAP Commerce with custom microservices
• Relational database / Solr search-indexing experience
Enterprise-scale project experience
