Insight Global is seeking a Remote Materials Compliance and Process Coordinator (BABA) to support or telecommunication client. This role will lead the coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement of material tracking, supplier declarations, Oracle integration, and cross-functional communication related to project BOMs and compliance processes related to Buy America regulations. This role will serve as a central point of accountability to ensure timely updates, smooth process execution, and long-term strategic alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
BABA Master Documentation Management
· Notify project teams of updates to material specifications or statuses.
· Ensure COO tracking systems reflect changes such as alternates, replacements, or legacy items.
· Enhance visibility through new data fields (e.g., Country Details).
OSP BOM Documentation
· Collaborate with OSP Engineering and Oracle teams for support and alignment.
· Oversee documentation accuracy and version control.
Material Transaction Process Oversight
· Confirm timing, documentation, and procedures for material transactions.
· Maintain ongoing communication with relevant stakeholders (e.g., NBD orders, COO, Procurement).
Supplier Declarations Coordination
· Establish and document standardized processes for obtaining signed declarations from suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers.
· Finalize declaration job aids in collaboration with Training and Compliance stakeholders.
Oracle System Preparation
· Coordinate with internal teams to confirm readiness for system dry runs.
· Track and resolve remaining Oracle-related action items.
MEP Engagement (2025 and Beyond)
· Develop and maintain a regular engagement cadence with MEP stakeholders.
· Coordinate resource transitions and re-engagement efforts, ensuring alignment with annual vendor review cycles.
Long-Term Planning & Process Improvement
· Define ownership and update cadence for the Master BOM and BABA Master (transitioning to Oracle).
· Drive improved collaboration between Engineering, Demand Planning, and Procurement on material decisions.
· Develop methods for calculating % iron/steel content impacts.
· Advocate for centralized, online BOM storage with live update capabilities.
Excess Materials Declarations & Reimbursements
· Confirm return policies and unit-of-measure updates for consumable items.
· Validate processes for declaration and reimbursement across different excess material scenarios.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in supply chain operations, materials management, or compliance.
Experience with U.S. government compliance requirements, BABA/Buy America
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems and BOM management
Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Knowledge of data visualization tools or Excel-based dashboard creation
