Job Description
Insight Global is hiring for a Project Manager to support one of our largest telecom clients in Alaska. This position is responsible for leading multiple concurrent projects focused on facility upgrades, core IP & transport initiatives, and satellite and microwave programs. The Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage personnel resources across internal engineering groups, consultants, and contractors
* Coordinate project activities across multiple departments, engaging professional design and engineering services, and general contractors
* Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules, including Gantt and PET charts
* Validate project requirements, review design documents, and prepare capital plan approvals and bid information
* Ensure project documentation is current, accurate, and complete
* Support and define project scopes with internal and external customers
* Oversee project delivery, cost control, and scheduling to meet deadlines
* Facilitate meetings, manage project recovery, and ensure desired outcomes are achieved
* Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and safety standards

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, industrial management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 4 years of project management experience, including developing project budgets and schedules
Proficient computer skills and MS Office knowledge (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience in logistics and procurement
Telecommunications industry experience
Other telecom industry or job-specific certifications
