Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Facilities Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering to join one of our largest telecommunication companies based in Alaska. This individual would be working remotely and would be responsible for analyzing operations processes in terms of resource allocation, energy management, and electrical safety for various blueprint designs and developments. They would also help advise on construction reviews and blueprints.

Required Skills & Experience

BS Electrical engineering degree or similar level of degree in a technical field
Must live in Alaska - REMOTE
Able to travel into rural Alaska

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Telcordia 1502 design
DC power Design
Fiber landing station or similar shelter design
Rural Alaska construction/design experience
Cable tray, fiber tray, and relay rack specification experience.
