Job Description
Day to Day:
Perform and analyze vulnerability scans using tools like NESSUS, ACAS, and Forescout
Identify and mitigate security risks; submit tickets for remediation
Track and manage hardware/software inventory to ensure only authorized assets are used
Investigate and document cybersecurity incidents using logs and alerts
Create and maintain reports (POA&Ms, MFRs, monthly/quarterly updates) for government stakeholders
Support scanning operations, including test environments, licensing, and credentials
