Job Description

This role partners closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities. The position oversees daily field operations, guiding craft labor and subcontractors through foremen and subcontractor leads to ensure productivity and alignment with project goals.
The individual maintains ongoing communication with engineering, quality, and safety teams to confirm work is performed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and schedules. Responsibilities include reviewing plans, budgets, estimates, and manpower needs to ensure all project quantities, values, and material deliveries are clearly understood.
This role contributes to schedule development, including regular logic reviews and active participation in short-term look‑ahead planning. The position supports weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and assists with material receiving, storage, and handling plans.
Additional responsibilities include helping resolve construction challenges such as productivity issues or work interface conflicts, fostering positive working relationships with owners and project stakeholders, and supporting other duties as assigned by project leadership.
Work is performed in active construction environments and may involve travel. The role requires the physical ability to navigate job sites safely, including climbing, lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, working in confined spaces, and operating at heights. Exposure to varying weather conditions is expected depending on project location.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of four (4) years of construction experience as a foreman or assistant superintendent
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings and specifications
Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and field crews effectively
Solid verbal communication and organizational skills
Working knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
Demonstrated ability to follow and support project schedules
Ability to meet the physical demands of a construction job site
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including nationwide travel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Four‑year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Experience supporting complex or multi‑phase construction projects
Advanced scheduling or look‑ahead planning experience
Strong relationship‑building skills with owners and project partners
