Job Description

1. Lead and develop people and culture by:

2. Drive project and operational excellence by:
• Owning and driving construction operations across the organization with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost
• Leading teams to execute with discipline, urgency, and grit—doing the hard things well with no excuses and full accountability for results
• Championing standardized processes that improve consistency, strengthen collaboration across construction, preconstruction, estimating, and business development, and position the company for long-term growth
• Continuously improving how we build by applying lessons learned, encouraging innovation, and challenging teams to never settle for “good enough”

3. Oversee financial performance and key metrics by:
• Taking full ownership of divisional performance, including forecasting, backlog, margin, and risk management
• Driving accountability through clear metrics and KPI tracking to ensure predictable outcomes, strong margins, and sustainable growth to support long-term success
• Stewarding the company’s resources with integrity and discipline
4. Strengthen client relationships and industry presence by:
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders grounded in trust, responsiveness, and consistent delivery
• Serving as a visible, client-facing leader who addresses challenges head-on and follows through on commitments
• Representing White-Spunner with a strong moral compass, reinforcing our reputation as a trusted partner

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 + years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple divisions or lines of business within a construction organization.
• Strong executive leadership capabilities with a demonstrated track record of operational and financial success.
• Advanced knowledge of construction operations, risk management, and project delivery systems.
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel as required
