Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our client in the engineering and industrial design industry. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer who prefers design-focused responsibilities and is not currently pursuing a PE license, or for a greener engineer who can grow into a PE track over time. The engineer will work closely with senior engineers and designers, handling conceptual design tasks and performing a significant amount of drafting work. Responsibilities include supporting multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with engineers to review redlines, and translating design concepts into accurate drawings and models. The position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality results across industrial and structural projects.

Required Skills & Experience
• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Mid-level experience with structural design and drafting responsibilities
• Knowledge of foundation and steel design
• Ability to perform conceptual design and problem-solving
• Comfortable with significant drafting work alongside engineering tasks
• Adaptable and collaborative with multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Early career engineer who can grow into a PE track OR seasoned designer with engineering background
• Revit experience
• Familiarity with industrial projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with engineers
