Job Description

We are looking for 3 different Mechanical Department Managers to assist in leadership with upcoming and current projects. The three mechanical specialties we are seeking are Piping, Propulsion and Deck Systems, and HVAC. These positions are for a shipbuilding company located in Mobile, AL and the company will assist with relocation if needed. In this role, you will be responsible for Hotel Service systems, Damage Control Systems, and others. You would lead a team of engineers and oversee safety and efficiency across the department.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
8+ years of design experience
Understanding of scheduling and prioritizing deadlines
Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Thorough knowledge of ship systems
Knowledge of Maritime Authorities
