Insight Global’s client, located in Irvington, AL, operates under a single parent company with financial oversight across two business entities. The work is performed fully onsite at the Irvington, AL location. This opportunity is structured as a six‑month contract with the possibility of permanent hire.
Job Summary
Insight Global is seeking a Controller to provide hands‑on financial leadership for a multi‑entity manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for stabilizing accounting operations and ensuring financial continuity during a period of restructuring. The position partners closely with executive leadership to support acquisition readiness and long‑term business planning.

Required Skills & Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Bring a minimum of 9+ years of accounting experience.
Demonstrate experience overseeing accounting operations across multiple legal entities.
Maintain hands‑on experience with month‑end close, audits, AP, AR, and cash management.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bring prior experience within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate experience using Business Central and Sage accounting systems.
Show familiarity with payroll platforms such as UKG and benefits administration through ADP 401(k).
Offer prior exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring.
