Job Description

An employer is looking for a Test Engineer to sit onsite at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This resource will provide technical expertise to the an Interoperability teams’ effort to test and certify tactical software versions through the life cycle of the weapon system. Duties include the operation of the software, multiple data link simulation tools, analytical tools, analysis of collected Link 16 messages and the development of test documentation, test plans, test procedures and test reports.

Required Skills & Experience

Active Secret Clearance
Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; additional 6+ years in lieu of degree
Experience analyzing Requirements
Experience with test development, execution, analysis and reporting
Experience generating Trouble Reports
Experience maintaining deployed systems
Experience testing Hardware and Software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Any experience with the Common Data Link Interface (CDLI) in either the Patriot or THAAD configuration.
Any experience with automated data collection/data analysis tools, such as NSITE, or data link simulation tools such as the IES, or the Northup Grumman MLST3 simulator.
Any experience with US Army Air and Missile Defense Fire Control systems such as THAAD, Patriot, C-RAM and the Air Defense Command Post (ADCP) deployed in Air Defense Command and Control (C2) nodes.
Any experience with the Missile Defense Agency’s Ground Test program and associated MDA systems such as Aegis or Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD), etc.
Any experience with the Solaris and Linux operating systems, at the user level.
