Job Description

An employer is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) team under a government program. This role blends software engineering, cybersecurity, and operational support to enable secure identity and credential services across the organization.
The selected candidate will be based in Huntsville, AL and will support RSA SecurID token issuance, identity and credential lifecycle management, and ICAM system operations, with periodic travel to other government sites across the country.

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
High integrity, strong accountability, and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Ability to travel up to 25%

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect) Experience with programming or scripting (Python, Java, etc.)
Knowledge of PKI, multi-factor authentication, or token based authentication
Understanding of NIST cybersecurity frameworks or Zero Trust principles
