Job Description

A federal client is looking for a secret cleared Proposal Manager in Huntsville Alabama. This position will be onsite at the corporate office and has 25% travel. The Proposal Manager's core responsibility is to ensure that all of the company's proposals are fully executed from start to finish. This includes coordinating the proposal process and producing the actual proposals. This is a highly networked position that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience writing federal proposals

-Has a Secret clearance

- Bachelor's Degree in related field

- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of various Government contracting concepts- including FAR/DFARS and CAS

- Experience with scheduling and running proposal kick off meetings, coordinating governance/sign off, document production and delivery of completed proposal

- Excellent attention to detail and punctual with due dates

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Ability to obtain/maintain a TS security clearance

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including In Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator

- APMP certification

- Shipley or similar training
