Job Description
We’re seeking a Database Design Administrator to join a close-knit team supporting mission-critical web applications. This role requires a seasoned developer with strong database expertise and the flexibility to contribute to application development when needed. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing database solutions tailored to user needs, leading SQL Server and Postgres performance tuning and troubleshooting, and supporting data migration efforts between environments. You’ll collaborate closely with a small team in a highly cooperative setting. The ideal candidate will help define best practices for schema design, data access, and performance optimization. Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of professional experience in software/database development.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server schema design and optimization.
- Solid experience with Postgres, including performance tuning and cross-platform data considerations.
- Comfort working in a small team where you may wear multiple hats.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex issues.
