Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to support our grid modernization and power distribution initiatives. This role is critical to maintaining accurate operational records, supporting analytics, and ensuring data integrity across our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of operational and customer data in Excel and internal databases.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Generate reports and summaries using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
Collaborate with engineering and field teams to reconcile data from field operations.
Assist in preparing documentation for compliance and regulatory reporting.
Support ad hoc data requests and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Support ad hoc reporting and data requests from leadership and project managers
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms

Required Skills & Experience
1–5 years of experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in the utility or energy sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis tools).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with ERP or asset management systems is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with power distribution systems or grid modernization projects.
Exposure to GIS tools or SCADA systems is advantageous.
Understanding of regulatory compliance in the utility industry.
