We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fleet Controller to join one of our clients in the utility construction industry. They are one of the largest utility repair and storm response companies in the southeast. They will be responsible for a large equipment organization and manage the financials for over 4000+ pieces of equipment, and 1000+ leases. They can either sit in the Hartselle, AL office or the LeCompte, LA office. They will report directly to the CFO and will be expected to create procedures and policies for this new group. They need strong experience within fixed asset accounting. The salary range is between $100,000-$130,000 depending on experience.

2+ years of leadership experience within accounting or at a controller level
7+ years of experience as a staff accountant
Fixed asset experience
Experience working with equipment leases (500+ ideally, larger operations)
Experience with CoStar, LeaseQuery, or other lease accounting software
Accounting/finance degree or something similar
Strong professionalism, communication, reliability
