Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager to support and help lead mechanical construction projects. This role requires strong ownership, clear communication, and problem solving skills. You will help manage projects from start to finish while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.
Responsibilities
Communicate daily with project managers, superintendents, trade teams, and stakeholders
Support management of multiple projects at the same time
Assist with estimates, proposals, and project budgets
Help improve internal processes and tools for the MEP team
Coordinate project work through meetings and team check ins
Maintain strong relationships with clients, field teams, and subcontractors
Help manage client expectations and ensure timely project delivery
Travel up to 25 percent to project sites as needed

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Background in construction management, engineering, architecture, or similar field preferred
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
At least one year of related experience in construction or project coordination
Direct Plumbing Experience
MEP Field Knowledge
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
OSHA 30
