This team is responsible for leading and performing transmission planning studies related to any generation changes on our large Utility Client's transmission system including new siting options, designations, unit retirement evaluations, integrated resource plan support, renewable and capacity RFP generation procurements, and OATT generator interconnection studies. This team works closely with resource planning, operating company transmission and project management, and external generation developers.

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution is required (Pending graduates will be considered.)
* Python experience
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and databases
* NERC reliability standards acumen & FERC transmission policy and regulation acumen
* Experience in writing code and has a developer mindset
* Creative individual who will be building relationships with fellow utility companies
* Previous experience working in the energy industry
* Master's degree in engineering or business
* Professional Engineering License.
* Experience in transmission planning and operations.
