Clinical Research Coverage Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a remote Clinical Research Coverage Analyst for a clinical study organization responsible for providing coverage analysis to various research sites around the country (hospitals and academic institutions). This person will be responsible for helping determine which medical procedures or services are considered routine cost, therefore billable to patient insurance, and which should be billed to the study sponsor. Training will be provided so a Clinical Research Coordinator who has a good understanding of medicare coverage analysis is preferred. On average, it takes 7 hours to do 1 coverage analysis so appx 1-2 cases per day or 5 per week.

3-5 years clinical research experience



CRC experience with understanding of coverage analysis (medicare specifically)



Clinical trial experience from a hospital/healthcare system or academic research



Experience supporting oncology and/or cardiac device trials

Experience using a CTMS system such as Clinical Conductor or OnCore



Bachelor's Degree is STRONGLY preferred



Familiar with Medicare rules/regulations, NCD guidelines or CPT/DRG coding
