About the Role
Insight Global is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join a leading global wire, cable, and connectivity solutions company in New Berlin, WI. This individual will be responsible for supporting end-user technology across corporate offices, warehouses, and remote locations. The ideal candidate will have strong desktop support experience, a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, and experience supporting large-scale technology initiatives such as hardware refreshes, office moves, system upgrades, and asset lifecycle management.
This role will play a key part in maintaining reliable IT operations, supporting end-user devices, assisting with application deployments, and ensuring technology resources are available and optimized for business users.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners, and other end-user peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues in a Windows environment.
Support hardware deployments, imaging, upgrades, break/fix activities, and asset inventory management.
Assist with office technology projects, including office moves, system upgrades, lifecycle replacement initiatives, and special projects.
Deploy applications and system images using Microsoft SCCM.
Support endpoint security tools, including antivirus, vulnerability management, and patching solutions.
Assist with maintaining network, server, phone, and audio-visual technologies.
Create and maintain technical documentation, installation procedures, network diagrams, and equipment inventories.
Provide technical training and support to end users while adhering to corporate IT policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

3-6 years of experience providing Level 2 desktop support in a corporate environment.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners, and related peripherals.
Hands-on experience supporting large-scale IT initiatives including office moves, hardware refreshes, mass upgrades, and asset lifecycle management.
Experience supporting endpoint security technologies such as antivirus, vulnerability scanning, and patch management solutions.
Strong troubleshooting experience within a Windows environment.
Knowledge of Windows 10/11, iOS, and Android operating systems.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and related Office applications.
Experience supporting warehouse technology including mobile computers, barcode scanners, industrial printers, and thin clients.
Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
Self starter!!

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Technology, or related field.
Experience supporting distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
Experience with basic network, server, or infrastructure support.
Experience working in a Microsoft SCCM environment for imaging and application deployment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
