Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an OSP Construction Laborer to support underground and aerial fiber optic construction projects. This individual will assist the crew with installing fiber optic cable, including digging, pulling, and placing cable, duct, or strand in both underground and aerial environments. The Laborer will work closely with the Foreman and crew to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in alignment with customer requirements. Responsibilities include setting up construction zones, assisting with traffic control, restoring job sites after work is completed, and maintaining tools and equipment. This role requires strong communication with team members and the ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable supporting all aspects of telecom construction work

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma
Ability to perform and recent experience doing physical labor (digging, pulling cable, job site setup, outdoor work)
Valid driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior experience with fiber optic installation (pulling, strand, duct work)
Experience with traffic control and construction zone setup
Familiarity with construction tools, equipment maintenance, or working on OSP crews
