Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Service Support Specialist to support the coordination and execution of field service operations for our customer in Brookfield, WI. This individual will act as a key point of contact for service requests, working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure timely service delivery, accurate billing, and a high-quality customer experience. This role is heavier on invoicing and billing, while also serving as a backup to dispatch and service coordination. Responsibilities include:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming service requests and customer inquiries
• Coordinate field service activities, including scheduling technicians and supporting dispatch needs alongside the service team
• Create and manage job forms, ensuring all required details are accurate and complete
• Process service invoicing, including reviewing completed job forms, billing for labor/parts/expenses, and issuing customer credits as needed
• Validate billing information, purchase orders, and customer details to ensure accurate invoicing
• Communicate service schedules, updates, and follow-ups with customers and internal teams
• Track and document service activity, ensuring proper records of costs, work completed, and supporting documentation
• Partner closely with service leadership and team members to maintain workflow efficiency
• Assist with improving service processes and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
• Provide backup administrative and dispatch support as needed in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills & Experience
• 1–3+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounting support, or service coordination
• Strong experience processing invoices, customer billing, and/or credits (billing is the primary focus)
• High attention to detail with the ability to accurately track costs, service work, and documentation
• Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to multitask and shift between invoicing and service coordination in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to remain calm and responsive under pressure
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working in a field service or dispatch environment
• Exposure to coordinating technicians, scheduling service calls, or supporting service operations
• Familiarity with service documentation such as job forms, RMAs, or service reports
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment with operations, field service, or leadership teams
• Associate degree or relevant professional experience
