Job Description

• Provide billing and invoicing support for retirement programs, including trust funding and administrative fee processing
• Review and reconcile payroll deductions for retirement and deferred compensation plans
• Support pension funding submissions and maintain related documentation
• Serve as first line support for employee retirement inquiries after vendor escalation
• Partner closely with vendors (e.g., WTW, Voya, OneDigital) to track, escalate, and resolve issues
• Maintain detailed issue logs through resolution
• Support annual deferred compensation enrollment, including communications review and system testing
• Assist with retirement plan audits and audit response preparation
• Support retirement reporting, including employer match reviews and restoration calculations
• Help execute retirement strategy initiatives such as plan amendments and transitions
• Support and coordinate union related retirement communications
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure plan changes are implemented accurately
• Support full function retirement system stand up and transition, including HR system data and file feeds

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience supporting retirement, pension, and/or deferred compensation plans
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong understanding of retirement plan administration, payroll deductions, billing, and trust funding
• Experience managing and holding vendors accountable (recordkeepers, consultants, administrators)
• Demonstrated fiduciary responsibility and ownership of retirement programs
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and follow through
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced contract environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive level communication (e.g., CFO conversations)
• Experience with HR systems and data flows, including troubleshooting file feeds
• Experience supporting retirement programs through organizational change
• Exposure to private equity environments preferred or acceptable
• Experience with mergers & acquisitions, specifically divestitures and stand up/transition work

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Background in HR, Total Rewards, or Benefits Administration
• Experience supporting annual enrollment activities
• Experience assisting with retirement or pension audits
• Union experience, including retirement related communications or negotiations
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience leading or supporting pension and 401(k) plan transitions
