Job Description
• Own and support test systems, processes, and data integrity for product testing
• Partner with NPD Engineers to develop, review, and approve test plans
• Evaluate test timelines, risks, and non-standard testing requirements
• Serve as the primary contact for test system and equipment issues
• Troubleshoot system, equipment, and data collection issues to minimize downtime
• Improve automated test and data acquisition systems
• Analyze test data and review/approve test reports
• Coach and mentor engineering technicians globally
• Support factory acceptance testing and production issue resolution
• Collaborate with global test labs to harmonize test strategy and processes
• Support training and technology deployment across global teams

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5+ years of Test Engineer experience (5 years ideal; will consider 3)
• Experience aligned to a mechanical product line
• Strong mechanical background
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Hands-on experience with engine-based products (diesel, gaseous, generators)
• Experience supporting product validation and testing
• Ability to troubleshoot test systems and equipment
• Comfortable working 100% onsite (no hybrid option)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Electrical engineering background (helps round out the team)
• Experience with generators, power systems, or heavy industrial equipment
• Experience with farm equipment
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes and power analyzers
• Experience with LabView, MATLAB, DEWESoft, VBS scripting
• Software programming experience
• Exposure to global test labs or cross-functional engineering teams
• Passion for continuous improvement initiatives
