Insulation Production Manager

Job Description:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field operations and ensuring crews are set up for success each day. They create and manage production schedules, verify job readiness, and communicate assignments so crews understand where they are going and what is required. This role involves coordinating materials and inventory, inspecting equipment before it goes out, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. The manager regularly visits job sites including single-family homes, multi-family builds, and larger commercial projects to provide hands-on support, training, and quality control. They also act as a point of contact for both crews and customers, addressing issues and keeping communication clear and timely. Throughout the day, they stay responsive to emails and field needs while troubleshooting any challenges that arise. At the end of the day, they prepare the schedule and plan for the following morning to keep operations running smoothly. Travel should range from 30 minute - 2.5 hours from the office.

Day to day:
• Create and manage daily production schedules, ensuring all jobs are planned and crews are properly aligned
• Verify job readiness, including confirming materials, equipment, and site conditions before deployment
• Assign and communicate daily job responsibilities so crews understand locations, expectations, and timelines
• Coordinate and monitor material usage and inventory, ensuring all supplies are accurate and available
• Conduct site visits across residential and commercial projects to provide support, training, and quality control
• Enforce safety standards and ensure all crews follow proper procedures on every job site
• Troubleshoot issues in real time, serving as the main point of contact for crews and customers
Wrap up each day by handling emails, addressing outstanding needs, and preparing the schedule for the following day

Required Skills & Experience:
- HS Diploma
- 3+ years of experience leading a production crew / team
- Valid driver's license, can pass a motor vehicle report
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite
○ Communication, scheduling crews, inventory, etc.
Strong organization skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- OSHA 30 certified
Prior construction experience
