Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Fiber to the Home installation technician to join their customers growing team. The Fiber‑to‑the‑Home Installation Technician is responsible for installing fiber internet services at residential customer locations. This role involves running fiber drops to homes, drilling entry points, splicing and terminating fiber, mounting equipment, and activating service. The right person will have at least 2 years of similar background with a valid drivers license.

Required Skills & Experience

High School diploma or GED
At least 2 years of experience installing fiber drops from pedestal, handhole, or aerial plant to residential homes
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work outdoors and inside customer homes
Comfortable drilling, climbing ladders, and working at heights
Strong customer service and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience using a vibratory plow
