Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven Engineering Manager to lead a small but critical team of design engineers responsible for developing innovative mechanical and structural solutions for mobile equipment and power generation applications.
This role requires a hands-on technical leader who will both manage engineers and actively contribute to engineering design and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong structural engineering background, experience with finite element analysis, and working knowledge of hydraulics and fluid dynamics within mobile equipment systems.
This individual will work cross-functionally with customers, engineering teams, sourcing, procurement, quality, and internal sales groups to develop cost-effective, manufacturable designs that meet performance and regulatory requirements.
The team will initially consist of 3–5 engineers, and the manager will play a key role in mentoring the team, driving accountability, and ensuring high-performance execution across multiple complex engineering projects.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience managing engineering teams (minimum experience managing others required)
Strong technical competency in:
Structural engineering
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Working knowledge of:
Hydraulics
Fluid dynamics
Thermal expansion
Aeration and contamination impacts in hydraulic systems
Experience using engineering simulation software (ANSYS or similar FEA platforms)
Ability to lead projects while also performing hands-on engineering work
Strong communication skills and ability to present technical solutions to both internal and external stakeholders
High level of accountability, urgency, and execution
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with UL 142 secondary containment fuel tank design
Exposure to power generation or mobile equipment industries
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
Background in fabricated steel or welded structural systems
Experience working closely with manufacturing processes and cost optimization
