Job Description
Our client is looking for a Scrum Master to accomplish four main areas of responsibility for this organization. Enable the client's Agile journey, Partner with Product Owners, Track team output through dashboards and other reporting systems, and serve the organization with scrum adoption. To further explore each goal and responsibility; a qualified scrum master will help to build the Agile journey by modeling behaviors to support the organization's adoption of a new way of working. They should use servant leadership to foster a healthy culture of trust and transparency with the team and be able to coach teams using agile best practices and behaviors. They should ensure sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, as well as backlog refinement occur by educating the team on their importance and facilitating when necessary. They should provide constructive feedback to team members to help drive agile adoption and growth, while fostering collaboration through Scrum of Scrums with Agile and Waterfall teams to remove impediments and dependencies. They will partner with the product owners and ensure they're able to create, order and maintain a product backlog while ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum team as thoroughly as possible. They will track team output through dashboards and other reporting systems by updating metrics and using them as a conversation starter to ensure accurate and transparent communication to the scrum team, stakeholders, and leadership is happening daily. Wholistically this person will affect change that increases productivity of the Scrum Team overall and should be able to identify opportunities to apply Agile frameworks across a variety of products and projects.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or related field
- 5+ years professional experience or demonstrated Business acumen
- 3+ years working with or on Agile teams and understanding of Agile practices
- Excellent communication and people skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PSM or CSM preferred
