Job Description

We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to support the development of a highly visible, client-facing application with a strong emphasis on user experience and interface quality. This role is focused on true front-end UI engineering, building modern, scalable interfaces that prioritize usability, performance, and design excellence. The ideal candidate brings depth in front-end technologies and partners closely with design, product, and backend teams to deliver polished, intuitive user experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js
• Lead and contribute to UI-heavy, client-facing features, ensuring a high standard of usability and visual consistency
• Translate UX designs and business requirements into clean, reusable, and maintainable front-end code
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services through RESTful APIs
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers working in .NET/C# and cloud-based environments
• Apply best practices for front-end performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Participate in and influence code reviews, front-end standards, and architectural decisions
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior front-end engineers as needed
• Communicate effectively with designers, product managers, and non-technical stakeholders
• Take ownership of front-end quality and continuously improve the overall user experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js in production environments
• Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Demonstrated experience building client-facing, UI-driven applications
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, component design, and state management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working alongside backend systems built with .NET, C#, or Python
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based application environments
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and front-end deployment workflows
• Experience building or contributing to design systems or component libraries
• Knowledge of UI performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design best practices
• Experience working in agile, product-focused, or client-delivery teams
