Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, collaborating closely with developers, and driving quality across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills, experience with CI/CD integration, and a passion for mentoring others in automation best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Automate test cases using the same coding languages as developers, primarily C# .NET.
• Collaborate with developers to review unit and integration test results for coverage analysis.
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Drive automation efficiency and coverage using tools such as Postman, RestSharp, SpecFlow, Playwright, and xUnit.
• Review development code to design effective automation suites that cover both technical and business integration scenarios.
• Mentor quality engineers on automation best practices and support automation backlog efforts.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and automated testing as needed.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across Unit, Integration, Acceptance, System, Regression, UAT, Security, and Performance testing.
• Design, implement, execute, and debug test cases and scripts for various testing phases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with RestSharp, SpecFlow, and Playwright automation frameworks
• Experience with automating APIs, event coordination, and backend processes
• Experience with a variety of testing techniques and methodologies
• Experience within an Agile environment
• Ability to ramp up quickly on both new and existing technologies
• Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent collaborative skills, with strong written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated team player who can run with a project and is willing to pitch in as needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Continued education and/or advanced degree(s)
• Experience with AWS
• Experience in software-as-a-service, actuarial science and/or insurance underwriting industry
