Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Fabricator to support pontoon boat manufacturing. This role is responsible for assembling, cutting, shaping, and fitting metal components that form structural frames and finished features. The Fabricator will read technical drawings, operate fabrication equipment, inspect finished parts, and work closely with production and engineering teams to meet quality and safety standards.

Pay range falls from $20-22.41hr based off of YOE

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED
Experience fabricating and assembling metal components
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Experience operating fabrication equipment (saws, brakes, benders, routers, or similar tools)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
Ability to inspect fabricated parts for accuracy and quality
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and workmanship
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, kneeling, reaching)
Strong work ethic and ability to take direction in a production environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Aluminum MIG or TIG welding experience
Experience in marine or boat manufacturing environments
Familiarity with MES or production tracking systems
