Job Description

Summary:
The Electrical Engineer plays a major role in the success of developing new products. This candidate will bring their own ideas and experience to the current product design team. They are key to keeping the products new, competitive, and marketable.

Responsibilities:
Electrical design/development for next gen products
Continuous improvement of design for existing products
Could be supporting current products with alternative components as needed
Design verification and execution documenting results
Testing/evaluation of legacy or third party products
Research and innovation design solutions to maintain cost effectiveness

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors of science in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Electrical Engineering (related fields will be considered)
4-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
Able to lay PCBs, and experience with circuit modeling & schematic capture
Has worked with testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers and digital signal generators
Can create engineering verification test plans based on product requirements
Computer skills (such as Microsoft Office)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with RF based devices/systems
Experience with BLE, LF communication, or flex circuit design
Experience with design/integration of single-chip, low-power wireless receivers (experience with TI, Silicon Labs, Freescale, Atmel, Analog Devics, Broadcom, Marvell is highly desired)
Experience integrating firmware
Understanding of codes and standards (such as UL and IEEE 802.14)
Bare PCB soldering ability
