Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a 2D Pipe Checker to join one of our clients in Marinette, WI. This is a 100% on-site role and relocation assistance is available. Work hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3pm.



Day-to-day:

- Checking diagrams and designs in 2D AutoCAD

- Viewing SPECs in 2d AutoCAD and checking these drawings for NAVSEA compliance and to meet end customers' requirements



The hourly rate for this role is between $30-$35hr.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-10 years of 2d checker experience

- Experience reviewing 2d drawings for completeness, design accuracy, operational integrity, conformance, specifications and industry standards

- Proficient working in AutoCAD - 2d, 3d design

- Ability to create 2D models of maritime piping systems from scratch using CAD software

- Maritime industry experience: military ships or submersibles or commercial ships

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- ShipConstructor or Navis software experience
