Job Description

As an executive assistant with Bezos Academy, you will support the daily needs of multiple members of the senior leadership team as we launch and operate a network of tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in underserved communities. Your important contributions in this role will enable our senior leadership team to focus on strategic priorities as Bezos Academy grows.

You will be responsible for complex calendar management and scheduling of internal and external meetings across multiple time zones. You will coordinate travel bookings, handle expenses, multi-task ad hoc projects, prepare documentation for meetings, and manage a variety of other day-to-day administrative tasks on behalf of the senior leadership team. You will proactively anticipate the needs of your executives to maximize their and their team's effectiveness, supporting them to strategically plan their time in line with organizational priorities and the rhythm of the business.

You bring strong planning, organizational and time management skills, an ability to work independently, and comfort operating with ambiguity to this role. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information will be key, and you will handle interactions at all levels with tact, empathy, and efficiency. You will be flexible and able to change direction seamlessly, prioritizing multiple projects with a dynamically changing workload. You will demonstrate a desire to be truly helpful to your leaders and co-workers, taking the initiative and going the extra mile without being asked.

- Exemplary integrity and discretion while working under pressure with sensitive information

- Ability to handle complex administrative tasks independently while keeping key constituents informed

- Ability to travel 10% of time, usually quarterly - i.e.) if a leader is running off site events in TX, FL they would attend those - usually no more than quarterly
