Job Description

Responsibilities

Work in agile framework

Develop simple extensible code within C++ for the UI/client

Work on-call (usually during school hours are when most requests arise)

Act as a team representative and subject matter expert.

Drive alignment of processes within scope of responsibility, ensuring consistent integration within the Microsoft/Mojang landscape.

Communicate status of projects to all stakeholders regularly and track stakeholder feedback.

Continuously monitor and evaluate team workload and organizational efficiency with the support of data and team feedback and make appropriate changes in order to meet business needs.

Assist with capacity and workload assignments for team members.

Participate in and contribute to high level strategic discussions about long term team goals and initiatives.

Assist in the development and documentation of development standards and best practices to streamline operations, communication, and appropriate use guidelines.

Create standardized Onboarding process and Training schedule for new hires.

Develop and deliver weekly status report emails sent to client leadership.

Assist the creation and presentation of Monthly and Quarterly business reviews.

Conduct monthly 1:1's with team members.

Track and approve time off for managed service team members

Required Skills & Experience

· ~10 years' experience within software development

· C++ Development proficiency (ideally within games)

· 4-5+years' experience within games

· Reporting and/or automation experience (ideally within ADO)

· Unit test experience

· Experience as a Lead: reporting project status to stakeholders, assigning work, giving feedback and mentoring junior team members
